Today a sales woman came at my house to sell something. She gave me a Gillette Mach 3 Turbo Shaver. Its price in the market is much more than what she was offering. I purchased a piece of that product. When she left I was thinking how this is possible to get a high rate product at such a lower rate. Then I realized that this is a marketing strategy. Big companies do this to attract people towards their products. No doubt in that they have a very good product which they are going to give but still big money goes with them. Just the sale of few pieces at lower rate and their market work is done. People themselves will come to purchase. Hats off to the managers who build such strategies.
