Every country has its national bird.Our national bird is peacock.It is a very big and beautiful bird.It is found in all over India.A peacock has very beautiful feathers of bright blue colour.They shine when they spread.A peacock has a crown on its head.The peacock is called kings of the birds.It has a very long n beautiful tail. There are moon like spots on its feather.Peahen is smaller in size than the peacock.Its tail is not so long.It does not dance.It has no crown on its head.Peacocks usually live in the fields n gardens.They eat small insects and snakes found in the fields and gardens.They are known as friends of human beings.Peacocks feel happy when the sky is over cast with the clouds.It begins to dance seeing clouds in the sky.It makes loud noise of joy. A peacock is considered as sacred bird in the country so it is not allowed to kill or hunt.It is loved by everyone in the country.
