Day before yesterday I bought a new TFT-LCD monitor. I am feeling very happy after purchasing it and why not, it has many advantages over the earlier CRT monitor. TFT-LCD is the abbreviation given for THIN FILM TRANSISTOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY monitors. These are one of the advanced technologies in the market of display hardware. Let me tell you that what is actually a TFT-LCD monitor? Actually it is a monitor which is a variant of liquid crystal display using thin film transistor technology. Now these days such monitors are coming with many utility and advanced interfaces like HDMI. In a very simple language these monitors have small cells up to the range of millimeter square and in each one a liquid is filled which when comes in contact of light gets polarized and then display is produced. I am happy as now I can see many of movies and other videos in high definition formats which when rum on CRT monitors doesn’t show any difference. But here you can easily notify the difference. If you are also planning to purchase a display device then go for TFT-LCD ones. They are good for eyes.
